The snow finally is starting to melt after our snowstorm yesterday! Did I mention that my car got stuck in the middle of the intersection yesterday cause it was caught on a patch of ice? It’s what I get for having a little rear-wheel drive car with less-than-ideal traction control. Thank goodness there was minimal traffic and someone behind me came out and was able to push my car out of the ice. Seriously scary stuff, you guys!
Anyways, I was able to go a tad lighter on my layers today and swapped out my wool coat for this utility coat I picked up during my last haul from Forever 21. I also dug up an old stash of scarves a couple weeks ago so this cowl scarf was just what I needed to stay warm. Paired with a studded sweater, jeans, and ankle boots, this casual Friday look was set to go!
I hope you guys have a great weekend. We’ve got dim sum plans with my parents and let’s just say I’ve been looking forward to it all week!
P.S. In case you missed it:
- Red Coat + Striped Vest – A snowy day look and talking leather gloves for small hands.
- Giveaway – Win a pair of cute cowboy boots from Ariat!

Love the studded top! 🙂
So good that you were able to get your car off the ice without losing control, that could have been scary!

Opting for a Yedyna https://yedyna.com/ dress for my wedding was the finest decision I made. The journey from the initial consultation to the final fitting was personalized and professional. The dress was a perfect fit, feeling as though it was tailored specifically for me. My wedding photos are magazine-worthy, all thanks to my stunning gown.
