With the Fall season around the corner, I’m looking forward to bringing out my fall wardrobe from storage. The cooler weather is the perfect opportunity to experiment with colors, layers, and textures. When I noticed that Sally Hansen came out with a new nail polish line called Fuzzy Coat replete with 3D unique textures meant to look like woven fiber, I knew I wanted to try it out!
I stopped by my local Walgreens and found the Fuzzy Coat line tucked into towards the top of the Sally Hansen display.
After much deliberation, I settled on 2 Fuzzy Coat colors: Fuzz-Sea {a mixture of turquoise blue and yellow-green “confetti” pieces} and All Yarned Up {a mixture of yellow, blue, and peach “confetti” pieces).
I decided to try a nail look inspired by classic fall looks that I was inspired by from last year:

You can really see the large confetti pieces in the nail polish, and I love the way the different colors play off of each other.
For my mani, I decided to go for the accent nail look — I wanted all of my nails to be the turquoise Fuzz-Sea color with the ring finger covered in the All Yarned Up golden color.
Assembling the tools: (from left to right) Essie in Turquoise & Caicos, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Golden-I, Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat in Fuzz-Sea, Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat in All Yarned Up, Sally Hansen Triple Strong Nail Fortifier / Base Coat, Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
I treated the Fuzzy Coat polish as I would glitter nail polish. I first applied two layers of a base color followed by 2 layers of the Fuzzy Coat polish. Each of these layers were thin and dried in-between coats.
Step-by-step tutorial:
I absolutely love the look of these textured nails. Part of me is itching to break out my fall clothes already, but the Texas heat is making that an impossibility for at least the next month or so. Luckily, the Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat polish is satisfying my craving for texture, colors, and layers! #IHeartMyNailArt

These nail polishes are so cool. I am wondering how tough it is to remove a fuzzy finish?
Kileen says
I had to remove one of my nails to redo it and it was stubborn. I ended up having to put a remover-soaked cotton pad on my nail and wrap my finger in foil so that the polish would come off. Then it wasn't so bad!
