Last year around this time we had just closed on our house and I still remember the excitement of moving into a new space. I’ve always loved interior design and Adrian and I both wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to revamp our furniture and decor. At the top of our list was the living room as it is one of the places where we spend the most time together as well as one of the first rooms guests would see when coming over. We wanted to create a cohesive feel with decor that was intentional instead of the random mix of stuff we had accumulated over the years.
For the longest time I always thought interior design services would end up costing over $1000 dollars and that it wasn’t something we could consider. I was so ecstatic when I discovered Havenly. After quickly reading through their easy 4-step process, I knew that this was the next generation of interior design services. Starting at just $79, you would be matched up with a designer that matched your style and be provided with hand-picked items to furnish and decorate your space. The full package would even provide a photoshopped image that would have the placement details and provide a visualization of the new space (and you can even save 20% using my code CUTEANDLITTLE through 3/31/2017!).
I especially loved how easy Havenly made it to define my style. Being someone who wasn’t really sure how to define my design style, I appreciated that it was as easy as choosing among pictures what I liked and didn’t like. The quick 10-minute style quiz involved selecting from images with questions that included if I preferred more modern or classic style, neutral or colorful decor, and whether I preferred minimal or a more-is-more decor aesthetic.
And finally, I was able to specify styles that I liked given a Pinterest board-like tiling of different example rooms. At the end, I felt like I had a better grasp on what defined my own personal style and actually wasn’t surprised to see that I had a style that was modern with a touch of minimal.
Once my style was defined, I was matched with a handful of designers with similar tastes and I liked how I was able to view each designer’s profile and see their favorite items given different design styles!
After selecting our designer, it was time to get started with designing our space! I uploaded some rough pictures of our space that I had quickly snapped during our move and uploaded them to the site along with some basic information about dimensions of the room as well as our budget and intended use of the room. I wanted a space that was simple and refined yet still functional with two little ones. There were also options at this point to specify any existing furniture that you wanted to keep as well as other inspirational images or personal Pinterest boards to help your designer get a feel for the space you wanted to create.
Within 5 business days, our designer came back with two concept designs that included provided a couple different approaches on how we could proceed with furnishing our space. These were initial ideas to get our conversation started and we were able to start going back and forth with what we liked and disliked about each idea.
Adrian and I were in love with the first concept and after sharing a few feedback options and our designer went forth with creating the final layout!
And shopping for everything was super easy too! Not only was I able to purchase everything via Havenly directly, but they had a best price guarantee and I was able to apply coupon codes and take advantage of sales as well! I loved how everything came together!
We’ve been so happy with how our living room has turned out and have even continued to use their service to help design our breakfast dining area (reveal coming soon!). I would highly recommend Havenly and am so happy to be able to offer you guys a 20% off coupon to try out the full design package yourself! Just use code CUTEANDLITTLE — valid through March 31,2017.

Thank you so much for posting this review! I have been contemplating using Havenly myself since my boyfriend and I moved into our condo back in August. Since it’s now March and we still can’t seem to decide on how to decorate or even lay-out our living/dining room combo, I’ve known I needed help. This helped me to decide to take the plunge and go with their service.

I really like the result. In fact, interior design is a complex process that requires a lot of decisions and resourcefulness. Nowadays, there are many software solutions that can help you create your dream design. At one time I used this option https://www.livehome3d.com/
