I’ve toyed around with the idea of owning a gingham shirt for awhile. I was never sure if the print was something that I could pull off but finally after years of trying on and off different variations of this shirt, I finally caved in and bought it. I figure to start off I’d wear the gingham shirt as a layering piece and see how it went from there. A monochromatic color scheme seemed easiest so I went with different shades of blue and topped it off with a crystal statement necklace — an outfit just isn’t complete without that touch of glam, am I right?
The snow and ice is finally melting around here but the mornings are definitely still chilly. I’ve discovered that these boots have traction like none other and keep my legs nice and toasty! #nevertakingthemoff

How did you layer those without bunching under the shirt? I like to wear stuff like this to work, and I always look so lumpy. I think we have a similar body type.
Kileen says
I think the trick to avoid the bunching is to find a sweater that's stretchy and a bit more form fitting. This sweater isn't too thick (medium-weight, I would say) and is pretty slimming when worn alone. Because it's on the more form-fitting side, it doesn't really bumch up when I layer it over another shirt. Hope that helps! 🙂
