So this month wasn’t the greatest as far as sticking to my budget. I got lured into a few spring sales towards the end of March that resulted in me exceeding my limit, but fortunately I had a bit of a cushion from February that it didn’t end up being as bad as it could’ve been. And thank goodness for swapping too!! I was able to score so many free items as a result of the TxSCC clothing swap! (There are actually a couple more items that I swapped but I gotta see if I can alter them to fit first…) And I know I mentioned awhile ago that I was going to have a blog sale, but I ended up just swapping the majority of the items I was going to post. I do have a couple of items listed though, so swing on by as items are priced to sell!
I did do pretty good on my beauty budget. I ran out of shampoo earlier in the month so the Tsubaki was a necessary buy. Otherwise, I’m still trying to recover from the last couple of months where I splurged on a curling iron rod and my Dior Capture Totale One Serum. I was super tempted to pick up the new MAC Wonder Woman lipstick in Marquise d’, but fortunately it sold out everywhere before I could get my hands on it. Thank goodness for hyped up MAC collections to keep me from spending. 🙂
P.S. All purchases were made using Mr. Rebates where possible. So in actuality I am getting a little bit of money back at the end of all this.
P.P.S. In case you missed it, I wearing pants again today (a rarity!). 🙂

Totally commend you for trying to stick to a budget!!! I think every blogger needs to do this since it's so easy to just go out and buy new clothes when in a rut. Anyway, you have a very nice uncle to get you a Chanel bag.. kinda jealous! Heehee. And I actually just bought that Shiseido shampoo & conditioner because it was on sale at the grocery store of all places. I'm loving it!
Happy Monday Kileen!
