Happy Thanksgiving + Life Update

Happy Thanksgiving!  It’s an extra special year for us as we celebrate as a family of four.  We had holiday pictures taken a few weeks ago and looking at them now just reminds me of just how lucky I am to have this crew that I can call mine.  This particular day was actually a pretty rough one as Dylan had an epic tantrum beforehand, we didn’t plan out our outfits at all, and my hair is even still semi-wet from having just taken a shower moments beforehand.  But still, life is oftentimes messy, and I’m learning to embrace it in all its imperfections.  

We’re hosting a little get together at our place this year and it also brings a bit of extra nostalgia as it will be our last year celebrating the holidays in this house.  I hinted at it before, but these last few weeks have been busy as we’ve been closing on a new house!  We won’t be moving until the start of the new year as the holidays are crazy enough as-is, but I can’t wait to share our new space with you as well as my adventures trying to decorate it!  In the meantime, I’m savoring these last few weeks of the year with these crazy kids.  I have so much to be grateful for and I’m so thankful for all of you that come to visit this blog too!  Thank you so much for this opportunity to do what I love and for letting me share bits of my life with you!
