Double Pleats // On Trend Tuesdays LinkUp

I’m finally back from vacation!  We took the red-eye last night out of Maui and made it into Dallas just before lunch time today.  While the kiddos slept the entire way back, Adrian and I ended up getting barely any shut-eye as we were basically holding them the entire time on the full flight…  But, we powered through today and I can’t wait to sleep in my own bed again (isn’t that always the best part of coming home from vacay?).

Meanwhile, I just love the swishy twirl of pleats so I couldn’t help but double-up on this outfit for our last day spend on the island.  The soft blush pink of this maxi skirt is just perfect with its understated classiness and I just loved how moved whenever the gusts of wind would pick it up.  The elastic belt also made for comfortable beachside lounging and let me indulge in a few extra bites of chips / guac without feeling constricted!
