Celebrating Milestones

This past year has been one of a lot of changes for my little guy.  From potty training to starting preschool to getting a new baby sister, Dylan has had to grow up in a lot of ways and it’s incredible to think of how far he’s come in such a short amount of time — and especially how well he has dealt with everything!  His personality has really blossomed ever since he started talking and he always find the silliness in every moment.  For today’s post, I’ve teamed up with Orajel™ Kids to talk about celebrating our child’s smiling milestones, or “smilestones”, and personally, I couldn’t think of a better example than my Dylan.

Toothbrushing is the transition that we’re in the middle of right now.  Dylan has been asking to brush by himself lately and I’ve been more than happy to let him have a go at it (although I do make a final pass with the toothbrush at the end just to make sure everything’s covered)!

We started also transitioning to a fluoride toothpaste and the Orajel “Bubble Guppies” one was a winner!  From the captivating characters on the front to the fruity flavors, Dylan has actually been asking to brush his teeth at night with his “big boy” toothpaste!

We’ve been using Orajel since the beginning even before Dylan ever had teeth and it’s been wonderful knowing that Orajel™ Kids has my little ones covered during every stage of oral development.  Thank goodness Dylan is a sucker for packaging as the Elmo, Thomas the Train, and Bubble Guppies characters have always caught his attention and made my job as a mommy so much easier!
