Kate Spade
Kate Spade Checkered Sadie Skirt -(wearing size S) $175 – 40% off sale – 25% F&F = $85 |
My first stop was into the Kate Spade store. They had a special Friends & Family extra 25% off sale going on and I wasn’t going to miss it! I noticed this checkered skirt in the clothing rack and absolutely love the grid pattern! There were only 2 left, one in medium and the other in small. The sizing on the website uses numbers so maybe this is a factory version of the skirt that relies on more generic sizing? The small here is a bit big on me so the length will definitely be hemmed about 1.5″ and I’m still considering whether to hem the waist. Priced at $85 even with the stacked promotions, the price is still a bit steep… But for a classic Kate Spade item, I considered it a steal!
They also had all colors of the Magnolia crossover bag and I was seriously tempted to pick it up in the vivid yellow. So perfect for spring right?
J.Crew
Baseball Tee, Floral Striped Scarf – $20 (similar) |
Next stop was J.Crew Factory. I found a cute knit baseball tee to try on (been wanting to add one to my closet for awhile now!) but ultimately decided that I wanted a cotton one instead of one that felt like lightweight sweater material. The floral striped scarf was a total win and at 50% off, it was a done deal!
There were also lots of items with anchor details all throughout the store. Especially love this, this and this!
Banana Republic
Classic khaki trench (wearing PXS) $130 – 10% sale – 15% VIP discount = $99 (non-outlet option) |
As mentioned in this outfit post, I’ve been wanting a classic khaki trench and I was amazed at how perfectly the sleeves fit on this one. The coat is slim all throughout and it’ll definitely be getting lots of wear with the rainstorms we’ve been having lately!
Gap
Gap Neon Yellow sweater (wearing XS) – $15 (similar) |
P.S. In case you missed it:
- Florals, Stripes, + Leopard – Simple basics with a pop of accessory prints!

Pants are from Forever 21. Metallic sandals are from Aldo. Both are pretty old though but I link to similar items that are available! 🙂
