Last week I was invited to share some of the latest trends in kids' spring fashion with Allyn Hoang of Eye Opener TV!
You can catch me (and my awkwardness) in this little 2:30 minute segment (link in case the embedded video below doesn't work).
In case you're unable to watch the video, here are some low-quality screenshots that at least give you an idea of what happened. I was given 3 different brands to work with -- Kapital K, Naartjie Kids, and Tadpole & Lily -- and 5 mini models (inluding my own Dylan!) strutting their stuff in 3 of spring's hottest trends -- nautical, floral, and hipster.
Dylan started it off with a little nautical outfit from Kapital K with an anchor print polo and khaki shorts. He was a little fussy initially as he wanted to go outside and play, but fortunately we were able to get him to "act cool" for just a little bit and caught a few good shots on camera!
I had the cutest girls modeling the floral outfits! Is it a little funny though that I'm almost the same height as our 9-year old, Emma, without heels? :)
Melia had on a really pretty light yellow top with a floral/tulle ruffle skirt from Naartjie Kids. She had the most precious little princess twirl too!
Emma is an absolute doll. I tell you, this girl could be a model if she wanted to when she grows up! She had the poses down and totally knew how to rock the floral ruffle leggings and matching headband from Naartjie Kids.
I had some serious studs rocking the hipster look!
I love a good button-down shirt on little boys and the pocket square detail was just too cool. The outfit technically came with a fedora addition but it ended up being too small. Noah still pulled it off though and just look at his sweet smile!
Bryson stole the show with his cute plaid suspenders and dotty plaid bowtie from Tadpole & Lily. This little guy was looking good and knew it! I actually ended up loving these pieces so much that I ended up buying them for Dylan too!
Thank you so much to all my friends who volunteered their kids for this TV segment and to EyeOpener TV for letting me host such a fun fashion segment! Hope you all enjoyed. :)
