I’m so excited to be collaborating with some amazing bloggers for a fall trend series. Each week for the next 6 weeks, we’ll be posting looks that feature a current fall trend. This week’s theme: leather!
I wanted to do a little experimenting with leather skirts for this week’s topic. I won this skirt from a giveaway a couple years ago and challenged myself to create a feminine, work-appropriate look around it. Fortunately this bow top was exactly what I was looking for! The soft pink color gives it that feminine touch and the silky fabric adds just that touch of elegance. Ideally, I think I would’ve preferred a longer pencil skirt that tapered more at the knee and with a flat waistband instead of this elastic one (something like this), but for now I’ll probably be holding out; I just don’t gravitate to leather skirts enough to justify the purchase. They’re definitely a fun item to style though so maybe I’ll reconsider if it goes on sale… 😉
Be sure to check out the other ladies and how they’ve styled leather for the season as well! And thank you Christine for organizing this fun collab!
