After 5 long hours of multiple tests and a sonogram, my diagnosis was that I had a subchorionic hemorrhage. Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done for this condition except for me to take it easy and hope that my body will heal itself. Fortunately the baby is still right on track as far as it's development is concerned as has not been affected by any of this. I hope you'll understand as my posts these days will be a bit more infrequent as I try to recover. Thank you again for your continued support and well wishes!

Oh Kileen, sending you much love! Get some rest and recover. I am glad both you and the little one are ok! If it makes you feel any better, I had a subchorionic hematoma (bleeding and large clots in the uterus around the 6 week mark) with both children and everything turned out alright :)

oh wow, that is good to know! did your sch heal up? my doctor is saying that in most cases the body will absorb the blood clot or it will bleed out. they have said that this does raise my chances for preterm labor though which is super scary!

Glad you are OK! This happened to me in my first pregnancy as well. Please take it easy! My suggestion is that you really need to stop wearing the high heels. They can put a strain on your back, etc. I know... I am very petite so easier said than done! Looking forward to your posts of chic maternity fashions. Try to buy items you can wear post pregnancy for a month or two with your first purchases ( probably in about a month?). Thinking good, positive thoughts for you and the baby!
i actually did stop wearing heels. I wore them for the first time yesterday all day but after going to the doctor's office, they've suggested that i switch to soft flats. I'm definitely putting my flats to use now!
and i have to admit i stopped by the maternity store last weekend and did buy a couple maternity tops since they were more than 50% off. i know they'll come in handy later on in the pregnancy as i fill out more!
and can i ask how your SCH turned out? did it resolve by itself? my doctor's are saying that in most cases the body will naturally reabsorb the blood clot but that I will continue to see blood as this happens. so scared that this will harm baby!
It's okay! Take it easy. Your health and the baby's health is all that matters.

Thank you so much for the kind words. Unfortunately I've been on bedrest for the past month and after my sonogram yesterday, I'm on bedrest for yet another month. The subchorionic hemorrhage has sadly gotten bigger in size, but doctors say that at least the blood is clotting and not actively growing at this point. Hopefully it will resolve itself in another month of so. The good news is that the baby hasn't been affected by this at all! It's growing right on track and looks as healthy as ever. :)
I'm hoping that in a month I'll be on my feet again and able to take pictures again. I do miss blogging terribly and hope to get back into it soon! Thank you again for keeping me in your thoughts -- it means a lot to me.

Thank you for thinking of me! Things are going well although I'm still on bedrest for another 3 weeks. Baby is growing and it's fun to feel the little kicks from my belly these days! Unfortunately being in bed all day has made me a bit lazy and I haven't been really dressing up at all in any blog-worthy. Take Coach Outlet your headset to an electronics store. Buy two male and one female headphone jacks the same size as the jack on your headset.
