Bright pants are the perfect way to perk up a dreary Monday!  I love a good cobalt blue and let it stand in the spotlight as I paired it with some more neutral colors.  I did want to add a little bit more warmth towards my face though, so on went this fun pink leaves scarf.  This outfit was just what I needed to get my week going!

As for the Color Brigade, last week's winner is Ritcha of Ri(t)ch Styles with her red, blue, and white combination with 107 likes and 54 clicks {wow!}. I love her easy, breezy, glamorous look!

Hi Kileen,
Ijust recently started following you on your blog & twitter too. Thanks for sharing your ideas & outfits in light of your morning sickness! The cobalt pants hopefully cheered up your day... How is the nausea? My friend had to get some prescribed medication for her nausea from her dr; not sure if prescriptions are something you want to try, but it's been really good for her & she only took it for the first 15 weeks or so.

Hope you're having a better week!

I can not get enough of bright denim this fall, and these look so great! Very polished with the blazer.

Thanks! I'm trying to avoid prescription meds. My nausea is tolerable and I have found ways to keep food down... I have my doc's appt tomorrow so let's see what she says! :)

Love those pants! I'm still on the hunt for the perfect pair of colored jeans...I ordered the same mustard ones that Kelly from Alterations Needed tried on from ASOS, but my order never came through. :( I may have to try again, though - these are the same ones in a different color, right?

Kileen said... [Reply]

i believe the pants are the same styles, just different colors. do try and order again as these are my favorite colored pants!

The purple ones are on sale for $40 right now! Might just have to order those, and thought I'd let you know in case you wanted them in an extra color. :)

My knowledge of fashion is only so vast.  I cannot comment on things like neutrals because I don't really KNOW about neutrals.  The one thing I do know is that the cobalt blue pants really pop out from the other colors.  I do think this is a very nice look as a whole.  But again, I wish I better understood the concept of neutrals in fashion.  Still- I know stylish when I see it.  And you, Kileen, are stylish!

PS I read your blog regularly; I just haven't commented in the past.

Oh, that's interesting. I've never submitted anything to polyvore. Do you have links to my outfits there?

If you type in the site, your correctly on their home page; just scroll down. I clicked on your pic to give you a direct link. (hope it works.) I didn't see your site linked or credited anywhere. HTH
