The weather barely eeked out over the 40s today and combined with the gusty winds, I couldn't convince myself to go outdoors for pictures.  Meanwhile, it was Color Brigade day and I had to post my accessor-ific outfit!  I'm in absolute love with this flower necklace and it was no doubt the highlight of my day.  For the rest of the outfit, I kept it simple yet layered for warmth.  And since I could barely drag myself out of bed this rainy morning, I decided that flats were in order.  The result was easy, comfy, yet still pulled together with a super fun necklace.  :)

As for the Color Brigade, last week's winner is Tara of Mix and Match Fashion with her cognac, charcoal, gray, and black combination with 55 clicks and 8 likes. I love how cozy this outfit looks!

You're approaching 50 of these Color Brigade posts.  To say briefly, if you are planning something special for your golden (50th) Color Brigade post, I'd be interested to see what you have then.  Your Color Brigade posts are nothing short of lovely.

Anyhow, this has to be a very comfy and easy outfit.  Your subtle style is lovely here with the jeans and the flats.  It is another example of Kileen cuteness here.  This, however, is Kileen cuteness blossoming beautifully with this outfit and those colorful flowers.

Hi Karen! My jeans that I'm wearing are actually a navy blue instead of black. I purchased them last year from Urban Outfitters when they had a sale. I absolutely LOVE them so if you can find them, I would definitely say buy!

lol, being pregnant is throwing me for a loop -- hence the flats. i'm so tired and nauseous all the time that heels just aren't an option right now.
