I first saw this shirt on Mayte {love this girl, btw!} and knew I had to have it. I’ve been looking to add a printed silk blouse to my wardrobe for a few months now and the horses on this shirt were exactly what I was looking for. Only caveat? This shirt isn’t actually meant to be worn alone as a shirt — there aren’t any buttons!
Not to be deterred though, I was able to make it work with the addition of a belt and a carefully placed safety pin. This blazer/cardigan/cover-up top ended up looking kinda like a kimono with these changes, but I really like it! It’s like mixing up a bit of American polo with Japanese costumery. Best of both worlds? I think so. 🙂

It's amazing how you can transform anything into a wearable top with a belt huh? Love it. This top is amazing, love the print and color. Almost bought a similiar dress pattern in H&M but it wasn't on sale yet, maybe later. You always find the best coordination items, the bag looks like the perfect match. So pretty.
