It's been awhile since I've worn a bold and bright outfit, so what better day to go all out than on Color Brigade Day!  I love taking advantage of the colorblocking trend and creating a look that's a little brighter than the norm.  The best part of this outfit is actually the little obi belt I found this past weekend at The Limited!  I love the light gold color and the way the belt loops back on itself actually has quite the slimming effect.  Not to mention the fact that the bow is beyond cute, isn't it?  ;)

The winner of last week's feature is actually a tie between Jane of Jane Squared and Courtney of I Can Be Many Things!   I'm definitely loving the layers here and congrats to both ladies for scoring the most number of "Likes" and clicks on their entry!

Great color blocking! These colors remind me so much of spring, which is funny considering it was in the low 70s in DC (should really be high 40s) today. You look great as always.

This is one of my favorite color combinations. Love it against the fall leafy background too. Nice job, Kileen!

Kileen I absolutely LOVE this color combo! I've seen variations of the fuchsia/pink./red colorblocking trend on a few blogger now, and dying to try it out myself!

Great color blocking, Kileen! I am eyeing your skirt from J.Crew this season. Hopefully, I will be able to score it for a decent price.

I adore the outfit! Love the pinks and purples. I am going to try and sumbit an entry. I need to think outside the box. I've been dressing too gloomy lately.
