There's nothing better than starting off a work week with a cheery pink and navy combo. I love the crepe finish of this skirt, so I decided to experiment and combine it with a chiffon top and a faux leather belt. Mixing up different textures is one of the easiest ways to add something different to a look, colorful or not.
And so let's get on with this week's Color Brigade! The winner of last week's feature is Cat of Team Mode rocking a red, white, grey, and pink look. I'll have to try out this look with my red pants!

Oh my gosh Kileen, I love your shoes! There's something about suede and mary-janes that go so well together. It's too high for me though, so I will look forward to you wearing them in the future!
They are pretty tall, which is why I have to be careful about how I wear them. But I absolutely love them! :)

This is so funny- I tried both that blouse and blazer on recently. For some reason the top sat really weird on me, but it's so flattering on you! And I love that blazer (was thinking about it in blue) but I think you can only wear it open right? I seem to remember that when I tried buttoning it it was all big and weird fitting

the blazer is a bit big on me, which is why i almost always wear it with the sleeves cuffed and with it unbuttoned. otherwise it looks all boxy and unflattering...not cute. :)

the blazer will probably be too big on you as it's even a bit big on me. i never wear it buttoned up as it looks kinda boxy and the sleeves are too long (which is why they're always cuffed). but i love the pink color too much so i bought it anyways. :)

I saw an E&J jacket at TJMaxx for $40 (sadly I didn't like it). It's very hit or miss, but they definitely get some good brands.
i agree completely! i also saw a cute military jacket at TJMaxx the last time i was there but unfortunately it didn't fit... the deals are unbeatable though and i love that the styles are actually in season!
