Skirt: Elizabeth and James via TJMaxx (slimmed) – S / $80 c/o TJMaxx (similar)
I found this Elizabeth and James skirt on clearance at TJMaxx the other day. Can you even believe TJMaxx carries designer items like Elizabeth and James?! I love the crepe-y texture of the dark navy fabric and it’s one of those details that you don’t even notice until you’re up close to it. I also dusted off one of my old Chanel totes to pair up with this outfit. Everyone needs an easy, carefree bag that they can throw half their life into and head out the door, right? 🙂
painterly paint pot, blackground paint pot, sweetjoy eyeshadow, UD gunmetal eyeshadow (Naked Palette), blitz and glitz fluidline, maybelline one by one mascara
Face:
studio finish concealer in NW20, fresh faces sheer neutral light foundation, NARS sin blush
Lips: quiet please lipstick

Your eyes are stunning! I'm not much of a make-up girl (other than lipstick), but this makes me want to try out a silver-blue eyeshadow.

Love the outfit. And I can't believe its from TJMaxx. I haven't been there in years because all the ones I've ever been to have been so unorganized, but this skirt is making me think differently about the store. Ooo, and I love the gunmetal smokey eye! It's so dramatic.

I love TJ Maxx, it's hard to believe they have E & J, but if they have a Runway section, they have great designers. I have bought a Vince t-shirt and a pair of Current/Elliott boyfriend jeans there this summer!

I love the dramatic smokey look on you! Gunmetal is a great smokey eye color – it's so much more wearable than black or grey. And you look great Kileen! I love all the blue in the outfit 🙂

Totally loving your smokey eye today, Kileen. I have never tried it because of the shape of my eyes. They always look sunken in as opposed to smokey magical.
Also loving this outfit. I love your polka dots. Love the length of the skirt too. You have great legs!

I know you already did a belt tutorial, but I think I have a belt exactly like this, that I love but never wear because I don't know how to tie it.
Is there much of a difference between how you tied this on and your previous tutorial?
Kileen says
this belt is actually different from the belt in my belt tutorial. this belt doesn't have any holes in it but just slides into the buckle and is held in place just from friction (i guess?). i put a safety pin in there too (pinned from the back) just to make sure it wouldn't slide out. hope that helps!

yay!! you should join the Dallas Blogger network (see button on my blog right-hand sidebar). so great to meet more Dallas bloggers!
