Today I wanted to try my hand not only at wearing bright colors but also to mix up a couple different prints all in one outfit.  Now I'm not normally one for leopard print for the workplace nor am I one for scarves in the summertime, but this leopard print scarf made me break my own rules.  I love the sheer chiffon fabric and the fact that it's paired with another neutral camel fabric.  And the scarf perfectly were the perfect ticket to keeping me warm in the chilly office a/c!

And so, I mixed up my red abstract printed shell with this leopard printed scarf.  I'll admit that while I wear bright colors all the time, I'm definitely still a noob to the print mixing.  With a bit more practice, hopefully I'll start to hone my skills a bit!  :)

I think you did a great job pattern mixing here! There being so much tan of a similar colour lower in the outfit really helps the leopard print mesh as a neutral. It's a very subdued, well done mix!

This is really great print-mixing! The combination is  so unexpected, yet still very subtle and totally office appropriate! You knocked out of the park with this one, Kileen!

Wow, you made pattern mixing look simple. Seriously, this is pattern mixing done right.  Not POW in your face and hurting people's eyes, but just enough to be interesting and cute. Nice work :)

Super cute outfit! The fact that you paired a leopard print with something so chic is a feat within itself! Awesome job!

Great job mixing prints! It works so nicely because the skirt helps out the scarf!   And I love that you chose gold accents!!
