Top: Love Dot Dot Dot Top - S / $14.90 (buy)
Belt: Target Studded Hot Pink Belt (old) - S (similar)
Jeans: Urban Outfitters BDG Grazer Jeans - 24 / $54 (buy) (or this link - on sale $20 + 3% rebate)
Shoes: Bebe Alexandra Leather Caged Bootie - 5 (similar)

I decided to try something different today.  I put the bows, lace, and pencil skirts aside for a day and challenged myself with something completely out of my comfort zone.  Sometimes you just need a change of pace, ya know?  I don't normally wear cropped tops, studded belts, or caged gladiator sandals, but here we are.  I felt like a little rebel in this outfit.  And it was awesome.

I couldn't help but slip a few patriotic pictures in.  Happy 4th!!  :)

And yup, this is my Fourth of July edition of the Color Brigade {just picture my belt as a nice shade of red instead of hot pink, lol}!  The winner of last week's Color Brigade is Cess from The Outfit Diaries with her teal, orange, and purple combo (8 likes + 49 clicks!).  It's absolutely stunning.

The blog is called "cute and little," but this look is "fierce (yet still cute) and little."  Providing the fierceness are those sandals.  The T-shirt says it best- I got nothing but love for this look.  Very awesome casual look, Kileen!

And you look just fabulous with this not so your usual style! I prefer your usual feminine style better, but I do love that you break the rule once in a while. It makes fashion a lot more fun!

I like this look on you, Kileen! Don't get me wrong, I love your usual style but it is nice to try out new looks every once in awhile. God knows how many misses more than hits I've had when I do that, but it's fun! Happy Monday to you!

Girl rebel works on you :) Love those shoes!

I love it! I always try to bring a little edge to my outfits myself, as I'm not such a girly-girl, and I am so digging those shoes - if only my feet were a smidge larger and my feet could handle that kind of height for the entire day (yet again bemoaning the meager selection in size 3 and 4 shoes...)  And you pull off the cropped shirt perfectly, which I'm not sure I would be brave enough to do. :) But the pink in the belt and the 'love' on the tee still show your girlie side (and some color) - awesomely done!
