Tutorial: Double Loop Belt Knot

IMG_7093ps.jpg IMG_6712ps.jpg

I recently did a little double loop belt knot in a few of my outfits and was asked to show how I tied it.  So, here's a little picture tutorial!  Note that this only works on longer belts as you'll need quite a bit of belt to wrap around. Enjoy the tutorial!

Step 1:  Tie the belt around your waist and buckle it where it fits naturally.

Step 2:  Take the tail end of the belt and slip it underneath the other side of the belt about two inches past the buckle.

Step 3:  Take the tail end that is now pointing upwards and slip it through the belt loop just past the buckle.

Step 4: Tighten the belt at this point so that it is taut.

Step 5: Take the tail end of the belt that is now on the other side of the buckle and slip it underneath the belt about an inch away from the buckle.

Step 6: Take the tail end of the belt that is now pointing upwards and slip it through the hole created in the previous step.

Step 7: Tighten the belt and viola!  The finished belt loop knot should look like this:

ooh great pics for this tutorial. but after learning how to loop 1, it was natural to understand how 2 loops work.

"Step 4: Tighten the belt at this point so that it is taught."
I think you meant 'taut'

I've been seeing bloggers wrap their belts! So nice, and it's so much better than having it just hanging out in the open
