Wow, getting dressed today for work was actually tough!  I've been so used to living out of a suitcase filled with safari / beach wear that figuring out how to get dressed for work was a total change of gears.  I guess the fact that it was so hard was at least a testament to the fact that really did escape reality on my vacation.  It was definitely much needed!

I came home to over 100 degree weather here in Texas, so I decided to start off my week by wearing some crisp summer white mixed with some brights.  I love the pops of bold color provided by the accessories -- they make the outfit fun but not over the top.  Perfect way to start off the work week right?  :)

I love how you match the two light colors yellow and white together and give a pop of brighter colors using the necklace and belt. Gorgeous!

Good job on the transition of coming home you look chic as always. I hope you had a great time on your safari and back at work! Your clutch is super cute and I love the mix of colors.
p.s. We have only made it up to 70 and it rains everyday so I am overly jealous of your weather.
Cheers,
Bre

I love the orange shoes. I was almost expecting you to come back and be in loud colors because you couldn't wear them on the safari. But, I really dig this outfit.

I will definitely be rocking some loud colors soon! I'm so glad to be back
to wearing colors again!

Seriously? You can handle the long sleeves in 100+ degrees? I commend you, Kileen! You look so beautiful, as always. I've missed you and sorry I've been so MIA, lately. Trying to get back into the swing!!!

Kileen said... [Reply]

The hotter the weather is outside the colder the office is where I work!
That's the only way I can handle the long sleeves, lol. And yes, I'm still
trying to get back into the swing of things myself!

I really like the delicate, summery colors you have in this outfit. I never would've known this was a difficult look to pull together--it looks great!

Lovely outfit. I don't think I've ever been brave enough to wear a cream/white skirt (too clumsy), but maybe I should try sometime. Looks great on you!

I love the skirt, so dainty and it matches the yellow top too, makes me think of summer! It totally compliments the tone of your skin too.  I like how you wore two different colored accessories, everything just works with you!  Hope I can try to work these colors into my wardrobe soon!
