Review: Emyloo Shoes

I've mentioned Emyloo Shoes before, but today I wanted to give you a full review of a pair of custom shoes I received from her store a couple weeks ago.

Emyloo Shoes specializes in shoes for small feet and has shoes ranging in size from 3-6.  Even better, custom-sized shoes are available for those who have hard-to-fit feet.  I typically wear a size 5 to 5.5 shoe, so while it's not terribly hard to find shoes for my feet, I'm always on the lookout for shoes as brands usually carry very limited stock for their smallest sizes.  I was so happy to see Emyloo Shoes come on the market to help out those of us with small feet and was especially excited to see all the trendy styles too!

For my shoes, I was given the unique opportunity to have a pair of shoes custom sized for me.  I chose the Calista sandals as I was drawn to the beautiful orange color and the classic design that would be wearable for both work and play.

The custom ordering required only 4 simple measurements (foot length, foot width, ball girth, and instep) with very helpful picture instructions to make it fail-proof.  My foot length measured 225mm, which put me at the 5/5.5 shoe size and perfectly consistent with existing shoes that I own.  After I sent my measurements in, my new custom-made sandals arrived on my doorstep in just over 3 weeks!

My sandals are an absolute perfect fit and I couldn't be happier with the way they look (check out my latest outfit post to see them in action!).  The straps are made of super soft leather and are comfortable against my skin.  I had the heel custom-sized at 3" which is a perfect everyday height for me!

I'll be wearing these sandals all week, so definitely keep checking back to see all the different ways that I style them.  And hop on over to Emyloo Shoes to check out all her other cute shoes too (and save $10 with code CUTELITTLE511)!

P.S.  My outfit was the third in the copy train.  Come see my take on the look as well as a styled look including the Emyloo sandals!

The shoes are beautiful!  I think no matter what size your feet are, finding the perfect pair of fitting shoes is so difficult!  Plus, all the size discrepancies between brands is such a pain; I'd rather have a custom pair of shoes made.

For sure! This is my first experience with custom shoes and I'm so
impressed with the perfection of the fit!

I love these - the colors are so perfect together!

(I have super big feet so am sized out, but glad all the petites with small feet have a good resource!)

I saw these shoes from your last post and feel in love. The color blocking is absolutely gorgeous! Now if only there's something similar with a chunkier heel/pump shape then I'd be all over it.

Those sandals are gorgeous! Love the colors.

So adorable! I might consider checking her out for flats. I feel like appropriately sized ballet flats are THE hardest thing for me to find... So bizarre.

Great choice! I love the t-strap and color :D

it looks like you got to customize the color of the shoes too, is that true?

Kileen said... [Reply]

actually the color was the only aspect i could not customize.  i think the orange color of the shoe is a bit more vibrant in person than it appears on her website and it's soo gorgeous!

oh Emyloo will actually customize for larger feet too!

oh her flats are so super cute too!

I love this company too! Glad to see I'm not the only one. I am size 4.5 (even 4 sometimes) and I hadn't found a properly fitting shoe in years before ordering from emyloo. I like all the things you can customize, including width, heel height, etc. Emily is a pleasure to work with as well. So far I have three emyloo shoes - strappy nude sandals with a gold leaf detail, black peep toes, and white eyelet flats. It seems I am becoming an addict. They're reasonably priced too if you're like the rest of us and don't get them for free. ;)

Hi
Kileen , would you tell me if you ordered the 5 or 5.5?  I'm looking into buying a pair of Emyloo shoes and my feet are the same length as yours.  Thanks in advance. :)

I went with a 5.5, but I would suggest checking their sizing chart and measure the length if your feet to make sure. Also the strap on top ended up looking a little loose in me so I had to add an extra forefoot pad (bought at cvs). I also found that there wasn't enough padding on the soles and had the cobbler add a layer on the bottom of the shoe. Hope this helps!
