I have my dream Chanel purse!! I had actually managed to finally banish the idea of owning a Chanel of my own anytime soon as I'm drowning in wedding and home improvement costs right now. But when I heard that my uncle would be traveling through Hong Kong for a recent trip, I mentioned to him that if he had time I would love to know whether the price difference for the Chanel M/L Flap. Little did I know that he would just end up purchasing it for me! I guess that's what I get for having a wedding and a "birthday milestone" all coming up in the next few months. I now have a "big girl purse." :)

I don't think I said this earlier, but congrats on your dream bag, Kileen!!! Is it caviar or lambskin? The detailed shots and less structured shape makes me think it's lambskin? It's soooo gorgeous. I think the charm might be an Asian Chanel boutique thing. I've never seen it on any US store bags. Is it removable? I think it's quite cute and would leave it on... unless you're afraid of scratching up the leather.
I'm a lightweight. I stayed up just for this reveal. Off to bed now!

Umm.. yeah, I'm sure my uncles are fond of me but I don't think any of them would shell out for a Chanel bag! Definitely a very generous gift and such a pleasant surprise to be presented with your Chanel dream purse!
I'm not a huge fan of the ball charm, but if you can't take it off then at least you'll definitely recognize yours if there's ever a mix up!

Congrats on getting your (and, coincidentally, my) dream bag! It's absolutely gorgeous and the size is just right for you. Do you find that you can fit everything you need in it? I think all the classic flaps now have the double flap which I'm concerned might take up valuable bag space. I went to check it out at the Chanel boutique but the SAs were exceptionally rude and wouldn't let me try it out with my stuff inside. It put me off a bit but not enough to kill the dream of one day finally acquiring that bag.
The blazer is awesome too. I saw it on their website but was concerned it would be a little too sack-like on my frame. I'm a teeny bit taller than you so I think I might give it another look.
