Unfortunately, today was also rather costly. The Michael Kors watch was quite an unexpected purchase. I had actually picked up a slightly used Michael Kors watch (MK5223) just yesterday at a local thrift store (St. Vincent de Paul for all my local Dallasites) at the suggestion of Angga. It was an amazing deal at $75.76 and I was so elated at finding this beautiful watch at such a great price below retail! The trouble started when I stopped by the Michael Kors counter at my local Dillards as I was in the mall returning some ill-fitting free shipping filler items. Dillards had some of the latest spring watches from Michael Kors on display and I accidentally fell in love with this "Small Runway" Chronograph model. It's a tiny bit (5mm) smaller in width than the previously thrifted watch and has a beautiful rose gold face instead of a white face. I'm absolutely torn between these two watches and even tweeted that I was willing to sell my thrifted watch earlier when I was looking through my March budget. Although I have one possibly interested buyer, if this deal falls through I actually think I might just keep both of them. It'll mean no more shopping for the rest of March, but maybe it'll be worth it. I'll just have to look at my watch every time I want to buy something and remember the sacrifice I made. :)
My productive day also meant that I didn't get around to take outfit pictures until 7pm and I was literally too busy praying that at least one of these pictures would turn out to think about trying to get a close-up of the watch. Here's a promise for better close-up watch pictures tomorrow!
* I tried out my new Chanel Black Pearl nail polish. It's beautiful! And if you're in the Dallas, don't miss out on this $18.50 mani / pedi deal! And if you like Groupon but haven't signed up for KGBDeals.com, you're missing out. :)
P.S. Are you ready for the Color Brigade tomorrow?
