I seriously took these pictures in the two minutes I had before I had to make a fast dash out the door for the last day of the Texas Style Council Conference (TxSCC).  You can tell that I'm such a rooftop photographer as I'm not used to having to deal with traffic.  What's this, a car?!  HOW. DARE.YOU.  :)

As for the conference, it was a wonderfully inspiring day of learning from other bloggers through a variety of different panels.  It was so amazing to see bloggers who have been blogging for over 5 years and hear their tips on how to stay fresh and sometimes tough it out in the blog world.  Even more so, it was also comforting to know that I wasn't the only one without a media kit (yet!) and that I'm not the only one wondering what exactly went into a media kit in the first place!  The conference was absolutely invigorating (even though I'm currently exhausted) and I am filled with so many new ideas I can't wait to try out on my blog.  For starters, I'm incorporating the "rule of thirds" with these pictures.  Being off-center is actually kinda awesome.

lol... I swear I just did that sort of belt thing last night. Except, I was wearing 3 instead of 2 and with a high waisted full skirt. =)

You look so FIT! And your waist is tiny, girl!

I don't think I could pull it off .. 1st cos I don't wear full sleeves (I feel like a sack of potatoes in them) and 2nd cos its a bit too floral for me .. the outfit looks fab on you .. I really like the sandals - the heel in particular and the LV bag :)
