The snow has finally started to melt and I actually escaped the house today! Since I've been cooped up all week, I decided to spend the day being productive. I cleaned out the closet (expect a small blog sale soon!), donated three bags of clothes at the thrift store, went shopping for wedding bands, filmed a little makeup tutorial, and even got dressed for the day. Now, I'm snuggled up on the couch watching Life As We Know It with Adrian and the kittens*. I need more days like today. :)
* Actually it's only one kitten and one 5-year old cat.
Btw, do you like the curled hair? I'm trying out my new Enzo Milano clipless curling iron. I think I like it.
[UPDATE]: I've received a few questions on the Enzo so just wanted to give some more info. I bought it for $119 off Folica.com here. It's free shipping over $50 and I used Mr. Rebates for an additional 6% back (referral link if you need one). They have special promotions going on every now and then too. I bought when they included a free $40 mini flat iron with the order. Their prices are usually the lowest that I find online and their customer service and return policy are the best. Let me know if you guys would like to see me do a hair tutorial with the Enzo too! :)

@Fashion Momma aww thank you! and actually the mustard tank on its own really didn't work for my skin tone (yellow on yellow is no good). I'll only wear it if it's layered with something else. :)

yeah, it freakin snowed in south central texas o___o'. it wasn't much but that just means you guys were getting more up northern and eastern part of texas.
i went to the grocery store yesterday and the place was packed! i was telling my boyfriend that people must've eaten all their food from being cooped up in their house even for just two days LOL!
anyway, loving that comfy yet sophisticated look!

I love the photoshoot for today! I like that early morning(?)/late afternoon(?) sun on your face--makes you glow hehe. So, that's how you rock a boyfriend blazer. I never bought one because I didn't like how it fit especially if I buttoned it up. It looks great unbuttoned! Hmmm. Thanks for showing me the way. :)
@hurricanekerrie thanks! there was actually still 6" of snow on my roof so i decided to use the outside sidewalk. i took these around 5:45pm right when the sun was setting. :)
and this boyfriend blazer is great! i love the lining that shows when you cuff it and it's nice that there aren't any buttons to worry about.

I love your hair like this. It's really pretty. Your top's neckline is gorgeous. If anyone is looking for a more affordable clipless curling iron the Remington T-Studio Pearl Styling Wand is really good, and around $30. I wish I could get an Enzo though they are the best!

I love the curled hair! I've been wanting to get one of those clampless curlers, but they seem so hard to use.
Great, great outfit and I LOVE the hair! I have a clipless curling iron too (I know, I have curly hair but sometimes I want DIFFERENT curls ;) ) but I can't seem to get a hang of it - I feel like I'm going to burn myself all the time!

@kimmie i always forget about the hair band!! it's so annoying. :)
and i've used the mini flat iron for my bangs. they're ok for that i think cause i don't have thick bangs and it seems to put my bangs in the right place. for the rest of my hair though, it's a little too small to be effective. i could see this as being a touch-up flat iron that you could keep in your purse possibly to touch-up if you really need that kind of thing. i'm usually too lazy to bother with my hair after i do it in the morning actually...
