I'm pretty excited about the trip. Our plans include doing a 1.5 week safari through the Serengeti during the time of the Great Migration. Wildebeests, leopards, giraffes, elephants, zebras, gazelles -- we'll be seeing it all. After looking at these pictures, I'm thinking I should take this cardigan on my trip. Maybe it'll actually work as camouflage out there? :)
As for now, it'll just work for the Color Brigade! This week, I bring you the colors cream, teal, and leopard.

AFRICA!!!!!! Wow! That sounds seriously amazing. And it's great that you're enlisting the help of your wedding guests. A trip to Africa is VASTLY superior to a football-shaped crockpot (which, yes, is one of the things my husband and I received when we got married =).
This look is so chic, Kileen! It's probably my favorite of yours this month! I love that leopard cardi with that teal skirt. Perfection!
As for Africa - wowza! What a honeymoon! You're going to have a BLAST! My husband went when he was in high school, and I've always wanted to go, so hopefully it will be in my future...eventually. :) We'll stick to Mexico until I finish grad school!

I love everything about this outfit! The leopard print, something on my list for when I can shop. The ruffles/layers of your top ate very pretty. And, the pencil skirt. Aust-have that I must get!

You didn't have to do ANY alterations?
@Really Petite I didn't have to do any alterations, but the skirt sits about 2" below my natural waist line if I don't belt it. I think it might be a little big on you since you're about the same size as Jean from ExtraPetite. The skirts are actually on sale now at J.Crew with code AYC93K (and 1.5% back with Ebates) so it might not be so bad if you do need to add on maybe $25 worth of alterations... Just a thought. I LOVE these skirts! :)
