What a busy weekend!  Yesterday was filled with running errands all morning and afternoon followed by attending one of my friend's wedding in the evening.  I loved this ensemble as it was warm, colorful, and functional.  I love the wash on these jeans and decided to give them a second chance today.  They were actually much bigger when I first bought them and I was left wondering how I could make them work for me.  I ended up running them through the washer/dryer already on high heat, which helped shrink them significantly as far as bagginess goes.  Unfortunately, the length is still too long, and I will need at least a good 2" hemmed up.  I think Charlotte Russe has gone the way of vanity sizing again, and I'll probably end up sizing down to the 00S next time.

Oh, and in case you're wondering, I did end up changing into another outfit for the wedding as it was a black-tie event.  :)

Hope you guys are having a great weekend!

Oh I absolutely adore this outfit! It all works together so well. And I think those jeans look amazing on you! But yes, they might need the couple inches hemming if you don't always want to wear high heels. Wish I could come to the blogger meet-up but I'm in San Diego :(

That blazer is so fantastic! Long pants are so annoying. I have a pair of jeans that desperately need to be hemmed as well.

You have such awesome photos. I love the pop of color from the scarf. I'm not sure if you like the look but a temporary fix could be cuffing them.

omg the H&M military jacket is to die for! The length is also great because it's not too long, but not too short to be considered cropped! AUGH I do not go to H&M enough, so I actually miss out on a lot of size 2 goods. ;/

Since when did F21 carry size 00s? Do the jeans hold up after one wear? I know that my pasun 00s jeans stretch out after two wears. D;

@Christina these are actually Charlotte Russe jeans and their sizes do go down to 00S (awesome, btw!). i have bought several pairs of CR jeans in the past 5 years and have never had any issues with them stretching out after wear and/or wash. they're very nice quality for the price, imho! :)
