Off To Never-Neverland!

And if you're like my mom, you would've told me to put a jacket on!

Some close-ups:

I'm finally back on my feet again!  And thank goodness cause I have way too much to do to be stuck in bed any longer.

For today's outfit, I'm wearing a new shirtdress that I scored from Urban Outfitters during their winter clearance sale.  It is priced at $68 $20 and with their Christmas 10% promotional code offer, it was definitely a great deal.  Unfortunately small sizes are all sold out on their website, but check in the stores for availability!  I love the peter pan collar and although I normally don't button my shirts all the way to the top, I felt like I had to with this one.  How else are you supposed to get to Never-Neverland?  Now I just need to get me a Tinkerbell. ^_^

So I have a story for you.  The worst part of my current sickness is the fact that I can't breathe out of my nose.  So my mouth is pretty much half open all day just so I can breathe.  (and yes, this causes instant dry-mouth and is not very attractive...  what can I do?)  So come dinner time, I'm trying to eat and am struggling with a hold-your-breath, chew with your mouth closed, swallow, then gasp-for-air technique so that I at least look somewhat lady-like and don't show the world what I'm eating with my mouth open.  As if this wasn't awkward enough, the bf decides to tell me something funny and here I am laughing, chewing, and breathing at the same time.  OMG.  It took all of my willpower to keep my food in my mouth.  Thank goodness I didn't have much food in my mouth and managed to quickly swallow it first before breathing and then laughing out loud.  But wow, I was this close to losing it.  Moral of the story, don't multitask when eating.  You might just end up with food bits on the floor.

Ok, I think I've shared too much information already.  Hope you guys are having a lovely hump day!

P.S. I am organizing a blogger meetup for DFW gals on Saturday, Feb 26!  I've gotten lots of positive responses so far and have a list of current attendees listed in this post.  Please sign up or email me if you're interested! :)

Too funny Kileen, too funny. Some thing similar happened to me which prompted a rule that the bf is not aloud to make me laugh while I am chewing or drinking anything.
The bright tights for a better feeling you are a great finish to this outfit.

Glad to hear your feeling a bit better, at least :) Those tights are the perfect contrasting color for that dress...I keep seeing so many people look great in colored tights, but I dont think I can pull it off haha!

Hi Kileen,

I LOVE your new blog layout,,, it looks very professional, Your style is very intense so is your blog :D

I was wondering what kind of camera you use to take such gorgeous pictures, which lovely posted in your blog,

I am planning to buy a new camera but I would rather ask people opinions first before I decide to buy one

@Anonymous i use a Canon Rebel XSi that my boyfriend purchased about 3 years ago. the lens is a Canon 50mm f1.8. i highly recommend you invest in the lens as the default Canon lens that it comes with is horrible.

if you have a little bit more money to spend, i actually recommend the new Canon T2i that came out. it takes video too and is better in every way! :)
