A Little Frumpled

Macy's Argyle Vest - S (old) (buy similar)
Charlotte Russe Turquoise Necklace (2009) (buy similar)
Louis Vuitton Speedy 25

Ack!  My shirt is frumpled.  And while "frumpled" might not be an actual word, but I think you all know what I mean.  My sincerest apologies.  Hopefully you won't call me a hobo.  :)

As for my outfit, I'm not normally one for vests as I think it makes me look too boxy, but this one had argyle.  I think you guys all know what a sucker I am for argyle (see here and here).  I tried to remedy the boxiness with a waist belt.  Maybe it worked?  I tried to throw in a few more brown elements into the look to balance it out.  I admit I did like the end result.

What do you guys think?

I love the argyle vest, but I think the belt is part of why it looks frumpled. Other than that I'm with you, and rather like this look.

I love it! The shoes totally make the outfit! And I think the shirt looks good frumpled...more natural and wearable. Like you did it on purpose. I think I'll borrow that word if you don't mind!

I think you look great Kileen, not "frumpled" at all!

I love how the vest looks! Even if it is folded :( Don't you hate when that happens?!

I am also a big fan of argyle. It's hard to find just the right color combos though so I am still searching for a vest. I'm not as bold with color as you are! I also really like your bracelet.

I agree with Ramsey- I like the look of the shirt even if it is slightly frumpled. And the oxford booties are adorable :)

I think that it is impossible for you to look boxy. That's what I think.

I love the argyle vest, it's super adorable and I'm glad there's someone else out there who uses belts as much as I do. :)

Kileen, you always work magic with belts- and I'm fairly certain you could EVER look boxy.

Also, the word "frumpled" has been dually noted and is hereby in my vocabulary. Thanks!

There is no way you could look "frumpled"...esp in this outfit! Love those jeans and the added belt :)

I like this look, cute and casual. Your vest is beautiful, I like how you styled it with a belt.

I love this look! I love the vest... I don't think it makes you look boxy at all, besides you show off the shape of your legs so that compensates for less waistline?

If you were a hobo, you'd be the most stylish one :) I really like the booties with this outfit. So chic!

My dear, you are not frumpled at all! Not one bit. I promise. And great job using the belt to deboxify (see, I just made up a word too!) the vest. You look great!

Yes! The belt did help!

I love the bracelet you chose!!

I think the vest looks great on you. If you don't like the boxy look of vest I will take a tank, or shell and use it like a vest. It makes your cute tanks do double duty.
