This is what they mean when they say Texas weather is crazy. Yesterday it was a bright sunny day and today it's snowing! Can we say cold front! We actually accumulated about 2" of snow on my rooftop and it was really fun staying in, snuggling under blankets, and watching the little snow flurries float on by. You'd be surprised to learn that Dallas actually does get snow a couple times a year, but for me snow is still such a novelty! I grew up in the warmer hill-country city of Austin, TX and we would see snow only about every 10 years at best!
So if you remember my post from yesterday, you'll remember that I'm starting a Color Brigade weekly feature where I will figure out an outfit mixing at least 3 different colors together and am inviting all my readers to link up their colorful outfits as well! Well, to counter the color mix-matching that I'll be doing tomorrow, I decided to stick to similar colors today and paired a pink cardigan with my red skirt. To tone down the boldness a bit, I threw in a few white pieces including the ruffle shell and white lacy tights. I actually kinda surprised myself with how this outfit turned out -- better than I thought! Thinking about it now, maybe this would be a good Valentine's Day outfit... Is it too late to start planing? ^_^
