I just slept in until 8:30 am, which is really 10:30 am Texas time. I feel awesome. :) I actually can't remember the last time I slept in that late. I blame it on the good food, late night conversations, and cold weather. I just wanted to stay in bed forever!
But now I'm up and I have a new J. Crew cardigan to share with you guys! If you follow me via twitter, I actually tweeted a little preview picture yesterday. I am wearing the merino chiffon-placket cardigan that swept the petite community by storm. I'm loving the beautiful gold color and chiffon ruffles; the sleeves are a bit tight, but I think they will probably stretch out a bit in time. The torso is a bit baggy, but it is easily disguised with a little skinny belt cinched at the waist. A super ruffly top worn underneath also helps. :) Overall, this cardigan is definitely a winner and I'm even considering buying another in the weathered wood color! I took a few pictures while traveling yesterday that I thought looked kinda cool. I spent most of the time sleeping on the plane, but I woke up just in time to catch a couple photos:
I left before I had breakfast, but landed just in time for dinner. And what a feast it was too! Let's hope I can still fit into my skinny jeans after this! ^_^

Went to F21 to find your belt and I guess my local store either didn't get it yet or sold out! Sad..it goes nicely with the gold cardigan.

The J Crew cardigan is so pretty! I absolutely adore the color. It's so bright and cheery. I can't imagine that cardigan in darker colors now :)

I think this cardi fits you the best out of all the petite bloggers who purchased this item. Couldn't find the belt at my F21 either, but I believe Ann Taylor has a similar one.
