I may be taking the red trend to a whole new level. I saw these red pants at Forever 21 the other day and was instantly intrigued. I've never owned any sort of pants except jeans (due to lack of fit), so when I saw these, I had to try them on. They're a bit long as I would prefer not to have to open the zippers near the ankles, but I love everything else about them.
I kept the rest of the outfit simple, but threw on some red lips to match the pants. Looking at the pictures, the red lips are definitely too much. But that's the beauty of daily outfit pictures - you see the good, the bad, and the ugly. Next time, more good. ^_^

I love the pants - I am thinking about investing in a pair of red tights so that's the extent of my adventurousness. The red lips are hot, I don't think they are too much! :)
That boat neck LOFT tee is so nice! And the pants are super cute but is it too long on you? I don't mind the extra scrunching or is it supposed to be that way? I know it's a zipper bottom too- too hard to hem? Your legs look a mile long!!!

Awesome pants! I used to have a pair of bright blue pants from F21 but was too bold for me so I only wore them a couple of times before I donated them. Nowadays, my pants are boring, but I do have a plum pair of cords...so I'm working up the courage again for colored pants.
The pants look good on you and you're rockin' it well. Plus, you look downright festive! =)
I don't think the red lips are too much. In fact, I didn't even really notice it until you mentioned it. The shade goes with the pants nicely without being too matchy-matchy. So rock those red lipstick! I see so many petite bloggers with this LOFT tee. It's so flattering on everyone!
omg you reminded me of this pair of red pants that I owned in college that I LOVED. They were corduroy and had a big belt attached! And everytime I wore them, my hubs (then BF) would call me Santa Claus. LOL! Anyway, you look darling, maybe I'll pick up another pair of red pants to pay tribute to my previous pair of "santa pants" haha.
Oh and I love the pairing with the striped top, it looks great on you!
