Target Necklace
I will admit upfront that I didn't come up with the inspiration for this outfit. I saw a recent post by J of J's Everyday Fashion using similar color combinations. She herself was even inspired by a picture found on Refinery29!
The mix of colors was definitely not something that would have come to me naturally, but the end result is something I love. I'm hoping to get more use out of this lovely marigold sweater and hopefully it will be included in my recent "color loves list". My color loves list is actually akin to the "hall of fame" for colors. The color must be universally versatile in both cool and warm toned outfits. The color must be something that can be paired with any other color. Long-time hall of famers include black, white, and gray of course. Recently, I've added cognac to that list (see here and here). Hopefully given a few more opportunities (see first opportunity), marigold will also be accepted. Let's keep our fingers crossed for marigold!! ^_^

Marigold, Mustard Yellow or even golden yellow has been a popular color for this fall. I'm loving the way you used all neutral colors and just added a pop of yellow. Great Remix!

I love this white skirt on you but I'm sad to see it's an old item. The fit and length is absolutely perfect on you. I'm sure I've said it before when you wore the mustard cardigan, but I must say it again: that shade of yellow is SO PRETTY :)

I was always told to not wear yellow because of the yellow tones in my Asian skin. BUT then I saw you, PAG, and Curls-And-Pearls in yellow and you all look FABULOUS in it!
The blogger community has completely changed my take on yellow and now I just have to find the perfect yellow sweater / cardi!
