My outfit goals this morning were simple: 1). wear this gray wool skirt that I bought from Forever 21 over Black Friday and 2). wear my cognac boots that have been neglected on my closet floor for the past few weeks. And with simple goals, I get simple results. I liked how the outfit turned out, but think maybe something bright would really spice things up. Maybe a mustard yellow scarf to throw in the mix for the future? I just might.
Oh, and for all my Dallas H&M fans, the pop-up shop is opening today (Wednesday) morning at Northpark across from the Henri Bendel (former Express space!) according to this article. I wish I didn't have a lunch meeting (as I would leave then) but I'm definitely stopping by the store after work! How's that for a hump day pick-me-up?! Let me know if you're going and maybe we can meet up! ^_^

I love this with the boots! I just checked out the photo of the H&M spot and I can so see the old Express store design haha. Good luck when you go! Too bad express closed though. I noticed it tends not to do well in higher end shopping malls.

@zookie i just stopped by today for their grand opening but it was absolutely nuts. i ended up buying a cape at the last minute that i've since decided against, so i'll be making another trip out there this weekend if you're up for it!
