I actually really liked how this outfit turned out and think that cinching in the wrap around the waist is the way to go to avoid it looking too shapeless on me. I bought this belt separately from the skirt, but it just so happened to be the perfect color match! I actually asked the bf what he thought and his only response was "uh, I don't know. But you have a fun in your hose." I actually nearly freaked out as I thought I'd have to start all over with my outfit, but fortunately I dug around and found a backup of my tights. Whew. Disaster avoided.
Oh, and I got shellac nails for the first time a couple nights ago! I'm in absolute love with these nails as they are supposed to last for at least 2 weeks with no chipping. And unlike OPI Axxium gel nails, you can use any nail polish color you want and still have the benefits of gel nails with the CND Shellac gel process. The shellac is supposedly more gentle on your nails and doesn't require as harsh of a chemical to take it off. I actually had a Living Social deal (I mis-tweeted that it was a Groupon deal) so I received a mani/pedi for 50% off at $30. I will definitely do an update post in 2 weeks and see whether the shellac system really stands up to its claim. :)

I love the entire outfit especially the ruffle skirt. You are so creative when it comes to mixing pieces to make your outfit stand out. That is one thing I want to do more but have yet to achieve.
Oh please do make a review about the nails, my nail tech keep talking me to do it and she also said that is not hard on nails and last longer.
I used to wear those acrylic nails and now I'm freaking out about those stuff, because it makes my nails break.
Why you dont like dolman sleeves? they are awesome!! :-) Now you need to wear it more lol, it look good on you and the skirt is just awesome!!!

@Angga cool. i will write up a quick review of my shellac experience. i actually had acrylics for a long time too and my nails ended up being really weak afterwards.
i love the cardigan and think it looks great on you! when i first started wearing dolman sleeved tops, i hated that extra baggage under the arm, but now i've come to really like it. the style is just so much more breathable than the regular arm-tight sweaters.
i really like this outfit because:
1. i'm a huge sucker for argyle
2. the bow belt is SO CUTE!!

Ooo I love your nails! Would love to learn more about shellac nails, as I tried gel nails once and loved how long it lasted (3+ weeks with absolutely no chipping), but when they removed them my nails seemed damaged and kept peeling, which never happened before so I didn't want to try it again.

@Kate I really like the shellac nails although for me I've already gotten a few chips after 6 days of wear. I had regular nail polish put on over the CND Shellac, so the wear probably isn't as good as if you went with Shellac nail polish as well. I'll post an update come next week when I hit the two-week mark with the polish!
