After a week of wearing form-fitting clothes for work, it’s nice to be able to unwind with a comfy oversized sweater for the weekend. Not to mention the fact that I wanted to sport my new high-heel over-the-knee boots with some leggings too!
For my regulars, I’m sure you’ve seen my flat OTK boots by Bakers that I’ve sported in previous outfit posts (here and here). And while I absolutely loved those boots, I decided that I wanted some with a heel. I just don’t feel glamorous without a few extra inches from my shoes! So in my recent quest to find new OTK boots with a bit of heel, I stumbled across a pair from a very unlikely brand, Style&Co. I found these boots at Macy’s and lucky for me they were on sale at $89.99 (originally $109.00) and I had an extra 10% WOW Pass coupon too, bringing the price down to something pretty reasonable.
I absolutely love these boots as they come up right above my knee (and not to my mid-thigh or crotch!). They’re not slouchy and don’t have fabric that will bunch up around your calves or ankles. They have the perfect amount of legroom where I can slip these boots on over jeans and legging without having my legs look like stuffed sausages. These boots are platform so they do provide a bit of cushioning. I added some extra instep cushions to prevent my feet from getting sore (these are a godsend!) I also walked the mall for over three hours today in these boots and I will confirm that these shoes passed the test!
In other news, I just noticed that Forever 21 now carries size 5 shoes!! First petite jeans, and now size 5 shoes! It looks like Forever 21 is finally catering to the petites out there! I just ordered the Chic Leatherette Stilettos from their website in the Olive, Tan, and Grey colors after seeing them in the stores today. I own a previous pair of silver pumps from Forever 21 and have been pleased with the comfort of those shoes even though they’re one size too big on me. I can’t wait to get these size 5 shoes in to see how well they fit!
