There are some days when I envy my boyfriend and how quickly it takes him to get ready in the mornings. Slap on a button-down shirt, slacks, brush his teeth, and he's pretty much out the door in 10 minutes flat. Me, on the other hand, end up taking an hour to get ready. Forty-five minutes if I'm really bookin' it (and skipping a few non-essential steps).
So for today, I decided that I would put together an outfit that was a bit more masculine that what I normally wear. Mind you, these tweed capris haven't seen the light of day in over three years! I finally dusted them off and threw on a slightly baggy knit top over it. And even though my pumps aren't very manly, no outfit is complete without high heels in my opinion. Even in a menswear-inspired outfit, a girl's still gotta feel glamorous right?
And because my boyfriend was gracious enough to help me take some photos today, I leave you with a couple gratuitous head shots of yours truly. ^_^

Wow, I love the tweed capris on you! I thought for sure a length like that would make us petites look shorter, but you don't. I think the heels helped =) The ribbon belt and flower ring adds a nice feminine touch. I really like this outfit!
