DKNY Brown Tights - S
I've had this jean jacket for over 6 years, at least. I've probably only worn it twice ever before today. Wool jackets were always my jacket of choice for work and unfortunately this jacket just never made my weekend lineup. Today, everything changed. The denim jacket made its debut at the office! The jacket was actually perfect in that it wasn't too thick or stiff, so I could actually wear it like a cardigan or blazer over my existing outfit. I made my denim jacket proud!
Btw, I am a bit embarrassed by the fact that I bought this jacket when it was first in style so many years ago and have kept it until it has come back in style. But anything less than 10 years is ok right? Who's calling me old?! ^_^
[Update] Just realized that Vicky and I were LOFT skirt twins! How funny, huh?

So cute! Love it with the skirt. I love jean jackets and think they can look really cute with a casual dress as well. Keeping things til they come back in style is awesome! Then you don't have to spend any more money when it comes back :)
Love the mixture of pieces you used, especially the scarf! And the braid detail on the pumps is soo cute!
Very cute outfit, Kileen. You DID make it proud! :) I bought my first jean jacket in the spring this year, and wore it once. So you are not the only one who's ignoring this versatile piece. I now wonder why?
Great combo, and I am happy to see the skirt on you! It fits very nicely.

That skirt looks amazing on both you and Vicky! I agree, I feel like jean jackets have such a bad rep since the afthermath of the 70s but really they are not that bad! Way to glam it up with your killer shoes!
I've been wearing my jean jackets before it gets too cold as well. The jacket compliments your outfit nicely, tones it down from being dressy =) I love seeing the same items on different bloggers. This skirt fits you and Vicky nicely!
