I love dresses like this for work. Very cute! And yes, I have had problems with belts in the past. I usually just pin them or use double-sided tape. For this dress, you could probably even swap the belt out completely for a different look.

So far I haven't had that issue with any of my belts. I know this doesn't really solve the problem of that belt coming undone but maybe just try a different belt with that dress?
Looking forward to you PFC#3 outfit!

@Closet Confections oh, so true! i'll have to try it out with another belt that'll actually stay belted next time. and i never thought of double-sided tape! i have some fashion tape that i might have to try next time. thanks for the tip!

@curls-and-pearls so true, so true. new belt next time! i have a patent black skinny belt that i think would work for this dress!

The dress is beautiful. It looks great on you! I am currently on a search for a classic tweed sheath :).

@Sydney at PetiteGorgeous thanks! Really Petite actually posted a really great LOFT tweed sheath dress yesterday that you might want to look into. good luck! 🙂

I absolutely hate belts that don't stay looped! I usually avoid them altogether or I use a belt with a buckle, as Closet Confections suggested.

You look so sweet! I think tweed is something I'm missing from my wardrobe.
I always have issue with those loop belts, they become loose so often and you have to keep retightening them!

Oh! Gorgeous! What a great neutral!
My solution would have been a safety pin, as well.

love this dress on you! dont you just love tweed? even though i live in a warm weather state, i'm not scared to wear tweed in low 90 degree weather. LOL!
Alterations Needed says
Ohhhh…I love tweed!!! That dress is so fun! Definitely try it with a few other belts. I find that the belt a dress comes with is usually not the best choice for it. Mixing it up usually ends up with a much chicer outfit, and hopefully it will stay in place better.
