OOTD: Almost Pulled a Marilyn

They’re right when they say that Texas weather is unpredictable.  We went from sunny 80-degree weather to a sudden thunderstorm and temperatures dropping into the lower 70s.  I heard that there was a tornado nearby!  Then it’s back up to 80-degree weather again the next day.  I took these pictures once all the chaos had subsided, but the wind was still some kind of ridiculous while I was outside. My skirt was almost blown up on multiple photo attempts, and while I tried to catch the wind in time to do a Marilyn Monroe pose, it was never timed quite right.

I really love this bright yellow summer dress that I bought from Victoria’s Secret last summer.  It’s a little bit big on me, but I love the pattern and the style so much that I wear it anyways.  I think if you don’t look at how it’s supposed to look on the VS model, it doesn’t look too bad on me.  Actually, regardless of fit, you should probably never look at how it looks on the VS model.  I think we’ll both be happier that way.  ^_^
