OOTD: The Boots Have Escaped!

One of my favorite parts of colder weather is the ability to wear boots!  I've been looking forward to being able to take mine out of storage and today was finally the perfect opportunity as the high was only supposed to be in the upper 70s (that's cold for Texas!)

Shirt:  This is such an old shirt but I absolutely love the color.  It's the perfect orange for fall and it reminds me of autumn leaves.  It's cut on the bias so it gives you a very slim silhouette as well!  Since it can bunch up a bit around the middle and look a little baggy, I paired it with a simple brown belt tied around the waist.  

Jeans:  Charlotte Russe is my go-to spot for jeans in my size.  Usually the 0S will fit like a charm.  These jeans were no exception.  I have never had to hem Charlotte Russe's Refuge line of jeans before and I liked the subtle back-pocket detailing on these jeans as well. 

Boots:  The boots were the highlight of the outfit in my mind!  I bought these boots back in March on Zappos.com when they were on sale.  I knew that I wouldn't be able to wear them until next season, but I was willing to wait.  They have a hidden platform inside, making the heel much more feasible to walk in.  I also like the height of the cuff as it will work perfectly paired under boot-cut jeans, over skinny jeans, with leggings, you name it!
